The end of the Cyprus stamp?

Proper e-residency with digital signatures and secure online transactions have been a part of most EU citizens life for a long time - while the paper trail system has ruled in Cyprus. But that is about to change according to official government news.

We are guessing it will take quite some time to implement but Cyprus residents can look forward to a digital life with secure online banking, digital business transactions and online government actions. Who would have thought?

We expect this will also do wonders for the future company management in Cyprus and in a perfect world the e-programme might even kill the need for stamps ;-) Either way it is exciting company owners looking into a future of less time wasted on personal appearances and excessive bureaucracy.

This seems too good to be true but maybe something good is coming from the current crisis!
